Namaste,
My name is Anesh Bodasing, the founder of TIFFIN BOX.
My family's heritage originates in Agra, India and for the past 150 years and 8 generations, we have proudly called South Africa home. Being born and raised Canadian, has further enriched my cultural background and perspective. The journey has taken me across the globe, living and working in Canada, South Africa, the United Kingdom and America, gaining over 25 years of restaurant knowledge.
TIFFIN BOX is the culmination of that experience—a tribute to tradition, quality and the flavors I grew up with. We’ve chosen to simplify our menu, not the food. Every item is prepared from scratch using authentic Indian spices, family recipes, and high-quality ingredients. That's why our food is as honest and flavorful as it is visually appealing.

HOW WE GOT HERE
Having spent nearly 25 years in the restaurant industry, I always knew the name: TIFFIN BOX. What I didn’t know was the exact concept it would embody. The journey from that initial spark of an idea to the opening of our pilot location in West Palm Beach was a 12-year odyssey of trial, error, and evolution. Even on opening day in 2019, I couldn’t definitively articulate what TIFFIN BOX was—but I had an unwavering passion and a vision to create something truly special and unique.
Fast forward to 2024, and the dream has taken shape. Years of refining flavors, perfecting spice levels, enhancing quality, streamlining packaging, and optimizing operations have polished TIFFIN BOX into a concept ready to shine. The essence of what we created in 2019 remains, but today, it’s sharper, sleeker, and more sophisticated.
In May 2024, we made the tough but strategic decision to close the West Palm Beach location to focus on expansion. Our sights are now set on college towns, beginning with Tallahassee and Gainesville. The goal? To bring Fast, Fresh Indian Food to the masses in a way no one else has.
This is more than a business; it’s a movement—a celebration of vibrant, authentic flavors served with speed and simplicity. TIFFIN BOX is ready to make its mark.
